Rate the worst tasting beer at Bad Beer Bash in Auburn, Maine
Many of us love to try new beers, but how do we distinguish between what makes a good beer good and a bad beer … bad?
Well, I’ve learned that when you drink a beer it shouldn’t have an aftertaste and a good beer will either be sweet or bitter depending on what the drinker prefers. So I guess if a beer is sour and leaves a mark on the tongue, it’s bad.
If that sounds appealing to you, head to this year’s Bad Beer Bash! This is a real competition that ranks beers from worst to worst.
Who doesn’t want to see all those unforgettable facial reactions, those gagging moments, and if you’re lucky you might even spot someone throwing up.
This event is brought to you by Eventbrite. It will be held at the Craft Brew Underground in Auburn on Saturday October 16 at 12 noon. The cost is $ 15 per person and $ 8 for Mug Club members.
If you want to participate, you receive 10 of the worst beers and samples of them all. You then rate how horrible they are.
From the Bad beer bash Facebook page, “It’s the most fun you can have while drinking the things that make you sad!” In the end, they give you a good beer to drink! So grab your buckets and bibs and get drunk!
