Queen Elizabeth II shares photo of Prince George and Princess Charlotte

Shutterstock (2)Proud great-grandmother! Queen elizabeth ii inadvertently showed an unseen photo of Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The monarch, 95, presented the concert organist Thomas Trotter with the Queen’s Medal for Music at Windsor Castle on Wednesday December 8th. In a framed photo captured in the background of a photo from the ceremony, the Queen is holding Prince william and Duchess KateCharlotte’s daughter, now 6, on her lap, while their eldest son, George, now 8, stands behind them.

Dominic Lipinski / AP / ShutterstockThe return photo also features the late Prince Philip – who died in April at the age of 99 – and some of his other great-grandchildren and Elizabeth, including Zara Tindallis now the 7-year-old daughter, Mia, and Pierre Phillips‘daughters, Savannah, now 10, and Isla, now 9. The group are seated on a sofa in what appears to be a room in one of the royal family’s residences. It is believed to have been taken towards the end of 2016.
Royal watchers also noticed a photo of the Sovereign holding William and Kate’s now 3-year-old son Prince Louis on the table behind her. The photo, which shows Philip and several of the couple’s great-grandchildren, had previously been released in April after the Duke of Edinburgh’s death.

âI love that you never know what to expect with the kind of younger royals and that’s what makes it fun,â he said exclusively. Us weekly at the time. âI guess that translates to a lot of what I do because you don’t control what’s going on in front of you. We must therefore learn to expect the unexpected and [keep] to [your] toes and that adds an element of luck and the element of, you know some days you get the pic [and] some days, no. I think that’s what makes it quite nice because you never know when the light is going to fall in a nice way or that there is going to be [a] beautiful interaction between the queen and prince george.
The Queen has resumed royal duties since announcing in October that she had been hospitalized overnight. Her doctors later advised her to rest for at least two weeks. She canceled her scheduled appearance at the Remembrance Day service in November after spraining her back, but quickly returned to work at Windsor Castle.
