National Jewelers Conference Sold Out
Nationwide Jewelers’ upcoming annual conference is officially sold out, with this year’s event theme “Time Out – Time to Shine”.
The conference takes place over three days in Brisbane, starting on May 13 and ending on May 15.
Nationwide Jewelers Membership Manager Erin Keller said industry feedback leading up to the event was positive.
“We are extremely pleased with the response, with 150 members representing 82 stores signed up,” she said.
“All of our 310 nights at the five-star W Hotel in Brisbane have been booked through members and suppliers.”
The conference will include seminars, workshops and a buying day. This year’s keynote speaker will be best-selling author Andrew Griffiths.
Griffiths, originally from Tasmania, overcame a difficult childhood to become a bestselling author, publishing her first book in 2000 and writing 13 other books on small business strategy. Griffiths will speak to attendees about what he thinks will be the most important trends impacting small businesses and retailers in 2022.
Nationwide chief executive Glen Pocklington said the event was aimed at giving retailers the best chance of success.
“The theme for the 2022 conference is Time to Shine,” he said.
“The focus is on key strategies for the coming year. Our business sessions will provide members with the tools to increase their market share and profits. »
Participation in the event is valued at $1,800, but members of the organization participate for free.
Nationwide will encourage members to attend Buy Day and make the most of the Conference Cash program, where $60,000 in interest-free financing (six months) will be available to spend with vendors.
