Joe D’Mango returns with ‘Love Notes’ online – Manila Bulletin
Almost in every country where there are Filipinos, there is undoubtedly a fan of the popular Joe D’Mango radio show, Love notes. Then a well-attended show that debuted on DWTM in 1989, Love notes broadcast on local radio for over two decades.
It eventually spawned a 1995 film directed by Maryo J. de los Reyes, a TV series, weekly column, portfolio, and album series. Love notes ended in 2012.
However, even after Joe and his family emigrated to Canberra, Australia the following year, he was forced to revive Love notes this time on YouTube via his own exclusive Dear Joe TV channel.
On April 27, 2021, Joe launched the first Love notes video. “I wasn’t expecting anything out of the ordinary,” he suggests. “But when the first two intro videos appeared and the first Love notes episode aired, I was inundated with hundreds of comments and encouragement from many of the original listeners of Love Notes. They were thrilled with the return of the program that was part of their growing years. “
Internet users were immediately delighted to learn that Love notes is back with weekly episodes on YouTube. Apparently, the program was adopted by listeners again this time on a different medium. Love notes the digital edition subsequently attracted fans from different parts of the globe.
Curve Entertainment recently reconnected with Joe to start a partnership and provide music for Love notes online. The themes will play a very important role in the plots presented each week. The recording team will also release a Love notes digital album, with tracks by their artists that will be promoted alongside the Love notes Mark.
Nasser is an artist who will honor the Love notes digital album. His single, I love you honestly is one of the pieces presented. The acoustic duo, BOU (Both Of Us), with Natasia and Sherman, contribute to the cut, Let me be the one to digital compilation.
