Good Morning America’s Amy Robach and husband Andrew Shue shared long-awaited news with fans who couldn’t have been more excited for them
Amy robach and her husband Andrew Shue have a beautiful blended family with five children between them and now they have a new baby … their first children’s book!
The longtime couple took to Instagram with the cutest photo of them reading, Better together, to a child sitting on his lap.

In the snapshot, Amy was beaming as Andrew watched her adoringly. Amy revealed that the book finally has a release date and explained everything in the caption.

“We have found our first little reader !!” she wrote. “Our #bettertogether picture book hits stores on October 26th… It’s a story about how the McSquirrelies come together to find common ground and learn to accept and appreciate each other’s differences. Inspired by our own family history, it’s now available for pre-order just in time for the holidays! “
Her fans wrote: “Love this Amy” and “Wonderful photo of Andrew lovingly looking at his beautiful wife,” while many others vowed to take a copy.

The couple had previously opened up about their new venture in a joint interview on Ashley Bellman’s The middle, and revealed what inspired them to write it.
Amy and Andrew have revealed the release date of their first children’s book
When Amy and Andrew first met their kids were between three and 13 years old and they wanted to make sure the change in their lives was positive.
They found a way to help their children bond by making up stories about the animals in their garden, hence the idea for their book.

Amy explained: “We’ve been really talking about this book since our family reunited 12 years ago.
Amy and Andrew took inspiration from their blended family to write their book
“They were between three and 13 years old and it’s hard to explain to young children ‘hey, meet your new brother, meet your new sister’, and now get along and love each other.
“There is so much going on after divorce and it’s scary and overwhelming, so we made up animal stories in our garden in the house we moved into together.
“We felt like they all played together and became a family together.”
She added: “We’ve been talking about this for a while and finally we decided to do it!”
