Emtee is said to be behind on car payments for a car he bought in 2018

Emtee was reportedly behind on car payments for a car he bought in 2018. Emtee has made headlines countless times for things other than his music and has sparked controversy for many reasons. the Long road the rapper had now made headlines for ignoring payments for a car he bought years ago.

Emtee explains why people consider him a drug addict

It was recently reported by City Press that Emtee ignored payments for a double cab Ford Ranger he bought in February 2018. The total cost of the car was R 476,590 and he made a deal to pay for it. R 417.81 per month. over 72 months but Emtee had skipped 20 months of payments.

According to the City Press report, in May 2018 Emtee had already skipped a payment and currently owes FFS Finance SA more than R 190,000 and they are demanding that he return the car or the car will be taken back. It was also reported that an application had been filed by FFS Finance SA with the High Court in Johannesburg and that a letter of application was sent to them on December 10, 2020.

The reputable newspaper contacted Emtee for a statement, but told them someone had come to pick him up and asked the newspaper where they got the information from. He also told City Press he was unaware of any legal action being taken against him and said he was fed up with bad things being said about him in the media. We can quote him by saying: “Who sent you? I just wanna know the person who told you everything“.

The report further reads,

“The notice was sent by the plaintiff to legal shipping for delivery to the defendant’s address, ”the court documents read. The financial services company is also seeking an order rescinding the credit agreement between the parties.“
