Through our joint efforts with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, here is a summary of Tamarac’s crimes and arrests through January 17, 2022.

Theft Auto

Rock Island Road.

On 1/11/2022, a 57-year-old woman reported her white Infiniti Q50 stolen.

Drums

NW 58th Ct.

On 1/11/2022, a 42-year-old woman was the victim of domestic assault.

Burglary

Solandra Ln.

On 1/15/2022, a 27-year-old woman reported her 2020 Nissan Rogue was broken into. Her 1.5-carat wedding ring, checkbook, Fendi glasses and cash were stolen from the vehicle. The vehicle was processed for latent fingerprints. Early. East. Loss: $5,929.

Gate Lake Road.

On 1/11/2022, a 41-year-old woman was the victim of a burglary. The complainant called to report a delayed break-in to her black Ford Explorer.

NW 57th St.

On 1/11/2022, a 34-year-old woman was the victim of a burglary. A stranger got into his white 2015 Toyota Highlander and stole a small wallet.

criminal mischief

NW 72nd Ave.

On 1/11/2022, a 58-year-old man reported that an unidentified person threw a rock through the front window of his residence.

Information

W.Commercial Blvd.

On 01/12/2022, a Broward Sheriff’s Office Deputy was performing routine maintenance when he accidentally discharged his assigned Taser.

Flight

N. Belfort Cir.

On 01/13/2022, a 73-year-old woman was robbed when an unknown person accessed her safe, stole money, and replaced the stolen money with counterfeit paper money. Test. Loss: $17,700.

Arrests

Lyons, Henry Lee, 41, was arrested on charges of Domestic Battery Committed by Battery Strangulation on NW 58th Ct. on 11/1/2022.

Jones, Eonie, 18, was arrested for theft from Larc-Petit on W. Commercial Blvd. on 01/12/2022.

Davidson Guillams, Minkah Tor, 28, was arrested for aggravated assault with fatal violence with a weapon on 70th Avenue NW on 01/13/2022.
